Intuition and Vision

Intuition and Vision presents artworks drawn from the MIT List Visual Arts Center’s student loan and campus loan collections. Spanning the historical breadth of both collections, the exhibition assembles a diverse selection of artists who have engaged urgent questions our communities and country continue to face today, from social justice and abuse of power to modes of resistance and renewed political imagination. The exhibition also highlights major artistic strategies in contemporary art including appropriation, conceptual photography, and performance.
