Stuart Sherman (Artist-in-Residence)

Stuart Sherman’s residency at the List Visual Arts Center inaugurated a series of Artist Residencies in the Reference Gallery.

He is a performance artist, filmmaker, and sculptor whose work has been shown extensively in the U.S. and in Europe. During his residence, he created works in several media, including a new performance piece, “Chekhov,” the first part in a trilogy that will also include pieces called “Strindberg” and “Brecht.”
